If the NT Government won’t listen, the Territory won’t have a police force warns their union

NT Police Association President Nathan Finn says an additional 200 officers or 30 vans are needed to meet the current demands on police.
It was among the key points outlined during his address at the Association’s annual conference last Friday.
Mr Finn told Katie Woolf police will leave the NT in droves if nothing changes soon.
He says they’re also calling for tougher penalties when crimes are shared on social media, suggesting it should be made an aggravating factor to charges.
