Katie Woolf breaks down the Federal Budget

Minister for Northern Australia Madeline King says the Federal budget provides more than $7 billion to the NT, with tax cuts of an extra $50 a week for all Australians.
She told Katie Woolf the budget also delivers cheaper medicines and slashes student debt, with funding for an additional Medicare urgent care clinic in Darwin.
Asked about the Darwin Port, Ms King said the Commonwealth is closely monitoring the solvency of Landbridge, also acknowledging the importance of Darwin in the Defence Strategic Review.
