Labor claims Alice Springs residents don’t feel safer under CLP and that the Chief Minister hasn’t visited the town since February

Deputy Opposition Leader Dheran Young who’s currently in Alice Springs says residents have told him they don’t feel any safer under the CLP Government and he claims the Chief Minister hasn’t been to the town since February.
He told Katie Woolf Labor never misled Territorians about crime, saying the CLP was elected after promising to fix crime in 100 days.
Mr Young says the CLP needs to focus on preventative measures when it comes to crime and spend more time talking to residents in Alice Springs.
Asked about the government’s Silkwood purchase, expanding Litchfield National Park, he welcomes the move but claims it paid more than double the asking price for the land.
