Labor claims CLP Government has broken its promises on the solar feed-in tariff

Opposition Leader Selina Uibo says Labor will focus on holding the CLP Government to account when parliament resumes for 2025, claiming it has broken its promises to Territorians on solar.

She told Katie Woolf the CLP promised to double the solar feed-in tariff between 6am and 6pm but have drastically wound it back to 3pm to 9pm.

Ms Uibo is also questioning how the Environment Centre of the NT and Arid Lands Environmental Centre will continue to do their vital roles after the government announced they’ve been defunded.
