Labor claims CLP Government lacks vision to grow the economy amid revelations it didn’t allocate operational costs for key projects

Opposition Leader Selina Uibo claims the CLP Government is lacking economic vision as the Treasurer commences his roadshow across the NT highlighting the debt it inherited from Labor and massive budget blowouts.
She told Katie Woolf Labor wanted to deliver galleries, which would have created jobs and a huge economic boost through tourism, but the CLP “dramatically” scaled back the Alice Springs project.
Ms Uibo also says the NT Government hasn’t got a plan to grow the economy with its sights solely set on reigning in the budget and deflected questions about why Labor didn’t factor in operational costs for key projects.
