Labor raises questions about tender process for G4S to work in NT prisons, claiming a lack of transparency and no figure provided on cost

Opposition Leader Selina Uibo says Labor will continue to pressure the CLP to roll out the $180 million allocated to tackle domestic violence after another DV homicide.
In regards to NT Corrections selecting G4S for its surge workforce, Ms Uibo claims there was no tender released online and no figure provided on the cost to taxpayers.
Ms Uibo also told Katie Woolf an advisor to the Corrections Minister recently came from a role with G4S and she’s wanting to know if a conflict of interest was declared.
