Member for Namatjira Bill Yan has labelled plans by CLP branches to move a vote of no confidence in party leader Lia Finocchiaro as a distraction from the pressing issues.

He told Katie Woolf Ms Finocchiaro has the support of the parliamentary wing.

In response to the NT Government’s budget, Mr Yan says a CLP budget would feature a boost in funds for frontline police but the treasury spokesperson couldn’t put a figure on how much that would be.
