Lock kids up and hold parents more accountable says Larrakia traditional owner

Gwalwa Daraniki Association chair and Larakia traditional owner Helen Secretary says youth should be locked up if they break the law, with their parents held more accountable for their actions.

She told Katie Woolf there’s a clear lack of respect from remote residents when they come to Darwin.

Ms Secretary adds that the NT Government’s review of bail laws should extend to all kinds of weapons, not just edged ones.
