Maternity forum being held in Darwin on Saturday aims to hear feedback from women, families and health workers to drive change
New mum Tessa Czislowski says a community forum is being held on Saturday giving women, families and healthcare workers the chance to share their experiences and feedback about maternity services in the NT.
She told Katie Woolf the forum will be closed to the media and politicians to provide a safe space for people to speak out, with the feedback to be presented to the NT Government.
Ms Czislowski says the issues aren’t going away, with women wanting to see changes like allowing partners to stay in hospital after births and more continuity of care.
