Member for Namatjira Bill Yan says he was attacked by a group of youths armed with rocks and sticks in Alice Springs in January.

He told Katie Woolf it’s 100 days since the NT Government launched its Summer Plan for the town and it is not working, with police under pressure and residents having to fend for themselves.

Mr Yan also says out of 14,000 businesses operating in the NT in 2019, only 9,000 remain in operation as of last year, reinforcing the need to address crime and build up business confidence.
