Education Minister Jo Hersey has admitted to using the government’s white car service for personal use on one occasion after revelations the Opposition Leader used the VIP service several times for personal engagements including social gatherings and medical appointments.

Ms Hersey told Katie Woolf she has sought clarity on the use of the government white car service saying in some areas there are blurred lines between work and personal use.

The Minister also announced that parents who continuously fail to send their children to school will be referred for income management from Term 4.
