Minister for Logistics and Infrastructure Bill Yan says a new bus tracker app ties into bigger plans to overhaul the bus network, with the Casuarina bus interchange to be removed in October.

He told Katie Woolf the Palmerston bus interchange is more complicated and will likely be the last one to be removed, adding that he is looking at solutions for the problematic bus stop outside of Woolworths in Darwin CBD.

Mr Yan said the NT Government is also moving to introduce stronger penalties for drink and drug drivers and on-the-spot fines for unlicensed driving.

The Minister also said new Mandorah marine facilities will open to the public on the 16th August and boast disability access.
