Minister for Recreational Fishing Joel Bowden says he’s keen to hear feedback from Territorians to guide the design of a proposed jetty at Dudley Point, located at the end of East Point.

He told Katie Woolf it will provide access to deeper water, helping more people go fishing, with $19.8 million committed in the budget for recreational fishing.

Mr Bowden says he is also aware of footage showing barramundi gillnets stung across remote waters where commercial fishing is banned and is meeting with NT Fisheries about it on Monday.
