Authorities have breathed a sigh of relief after Cyclone Narelle passed over the Top End over the weekend, with the system now downgraded to a tropical low.

The Chief Minister says there are no reports of major infrastructure damage, with trees down and widespread power outages.

If inspections give the all clear – it’s hoped Numbulwar residents will be able to return home from Darwin.
