Sand Palms Roadhouse and Motel owner Tommy Abdoo says a government department has requested he remove his business signs on the roadside claiming they are an eyesore and distraction for motorists.

He told Katie Woolf it goes to show the NT Government has its priorities all wrong, with crime continuing to grip to Territory.

Mr Abdoo says removing the signs is a loss for visitors and tourists who rely on them to get to their destinations.
