NT Chief Minister hits back at claims by two former PM’s that the NT is a failed state
Chief Minister Natasha Fyles says two former Prime Ministers are using the NT as a political football to push their agendas on the Voice to Parliament.
Tony Abbott and John Howard called the NT a failed state in reports by the Australian citing the governments’ inability to provide basic services to remote communities and casting doubts that the Voice will improve outcomes for people in the Red Centre.
But Ms Fyles told Katie Woolf the NT Government is spending billions on health, education and community safety but also relies on consistent investment from the Federal Government.
