NT family’s bid to raise $160,000 USD for their 18 month old son who has a nasty brain tumour

Dennis Jevdenijevic says his 6-month-old son Kealii had a medical episode at a play shack in Palmerston just before Christmas, which was the first sign something was wrong.

He told Katie Woolf after a string of tests doctors found he had a brain tumor which started impacting his spinal cord, neck and nerves.

Mr Jevdenijevic says Kealii has undergone major surgery in Queensland which was quite successful, rendering them eligible for treatment overseas which costs $160,000 USD.

The family has set up a GoFundMe page to help with the costs, which has so far raised more than $100,000 – https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-kealii-get-the-treatment-he-deserves?member=32901831&sharetype=teams&utm_campaign=p_na+share-sheet&utm_medium=copy_link&utm_source=customer
