Opposition Leader Selena Uibo says she’s been in Alice Springs, showing her support and talking to the family of a 24-year-old man who died in police custody last week.

She told Katie Woolf she supports calls by her Federal counterparts for an independent investigation in addition to the police investigation into the death of Yuendumu man.

Ms Uibo says she is also prepared to work with the NT Government in a bipartisan way.
