NT Police Association President Nathan Finn says racism is not systemic within the NT police force, suggesting some of the evidence coming out of the coronial inquest into the death of Kumanjayi Walker will be quashed today.

He told Katie Woolf he is confident internal and independent investigations into the allegations will get to the bottom of the issues.

Mr Finn also raised concerns about a fast-tracked training program for PALIs to become Constables saying it’s just a move to fill vacancies and will result in Alice Springs being short 47 officers from mid-March.
