Opposition Leader confident of a reduction in crime within 100 days if CLP wins government

Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro says the CLP isn’t planning to inject more funds into private security patrols, with its focus on backing police and retention.

She told Katie Woolf if elected, the CLP would disband Labor’s super shires in remote communities, opting for a pilot program for remote councils in a bid to deliver better outcomes for communities.

Ms Finocchiaro is questioning Minister for Arts Chansey Paech’s travel to Darwin Festival and if he has complied with the NT ICAC’s rules and requirements during caretaker mode.
