Petrol companies slammed for jacking up prices at the bowser
There’s been overwhelming outcry against petrol companies for increasing prices at the bowser by 30 cents overnight due to concerns about fighting in the Middle East.
NT Treasurer Bill Yan has slammed companies, labelling price gouging… while AANT has supported that view as they have pointed out most petrol was bought days ago and shouldn’t be more expensive.
But Ben Haythorpe says he expects the price spike will be short lived , pointing to some stations have already dropped prices again, but it’s the question of how much?
