Commissioner Martin Dole has strongly rejected claims the investigation against the Member for Solomon Luke Gosling has had a degree of politicisation.

Mr Gosling has been charged with assaulting the NT Administrator David Connolly.

He has denied the allegations and plans to contest the charges.

The Labor Member has also disputed Police claims investigator attempted to contact him prior to his arrest, however Commissioner Dole says there were multiple attempts on multiple occasions.
