Sky News Journalist Matt Cunningham says the NT Police Commissioner has been asked to resign following a cabinet meeting last Friday.

He says Jamie Chalker is not expected to return to the role after his Easter leave.

Mr Cunningham told Katie Woolf there’s been ‘radio silence’ from the government in addressing the claims.

He says Constable Zachary Rolfe has also been asked to resign, with a letter sent to his lawyers about plans to terminate his position.
