Racism review into the NT Police Force, set to cost $300,000, scrapped with funds redirected to NT Legal Aid says Attorney-General

Attorney-General Marie Claire Boothby says there are 550 more people in prison now than before the CLP came to power, with less people getting bail and crime starting to reduce in the NT.

She told Katie Woolf seven people have so far been charged with posting and boating and 14 have been hit with the new ram raid offence.

Ms Boothby says a review into racism within the NT Police Force, announced under Labor, that was set to cost $300,000, has been scrapped with the funds being redirected to NT Legal Aid.
