Senator Jacinta Price says the Territory Rights bill in its current state does not contain enough safeguards to protect vulnerable people. 

She told Katie Woolf children, people with a disability or mental impairment need greater protections so they are not subjected to euthanasia. 

Ms Price says she is drafting a private senator’s bill covering more broader Territory rights not just those around voluntary assisted dying.
