The CEO of St John Ambulance has revealed a surge in demand over the weekend meant paramedics were not able to respond and fulfil their duties as long term under funding meant they can’t keep up with an increase in demand.

Abigail Trewin laid out the dire situation of the paramedic service calling for an immediate boost of funding to ensure delivery service can be met.
