Talks underway to attract more airlines to Darwin and Alice Springs according to Tourism Minister
Tourism Minister Nicole Manison has down played the impact of crime on tourism in Central Australia pointing to the government’s investment in marketing and efforts to attract school groups to the area.
She told Katie Woolf conversations are underway to attract more airlines to Darwin and Alice Spring but flagged that airports have a key role to play when it comes to their fees.
Ms Mansion says she’s not aware why there aren’t any Jetstar flights from Darwin to Bali for October but pledged to find out why.
