An Alice Springs mother says a group of youths followed her car and pegged rocks at it while her young children were inside last night, leaving them absolutely terrified.

She told Katie Woolf the offenders are known to police but yet are still out on the streets terrorising the community for the third night in a row.

The mother says while some Territorians are packing up and leaving the town, it’s a challenge for single mums to do that, with many feeling trapped there.
