The CLP outlines its plan to lower grocery prices and bail reforms, to be called Declan’s Law

Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro says the CLP plans to back small business with payroll tax cuts, which would help lower the cost of living in contrast to Labor’s promise of free land to a new supermarket operator.

She told Katie Woolf the CLP also plans to introduce a suite of bail reforms called Declan’s Law that would see serious violent offenders start with a presumption against bail, giving judge tighter rules to work within.

In her last interview on Mix 360 before election day, Ms Finocchiaro would not be drawn on any deals with independents if there is a hung parliament.
