The Territory’s very own Shari Togo is heading off to Papua New Guinea as the Assistant Coach for the Prime Ministers XXIII Women’s Rugby Squad
Shari Togo is a mum of two, proud Indigenous woman, and is the captain of local footy team Litchfield Bears, and she’s been named as the assistant coach for the Prime Ministers XXIII Women’s Rugby Squad.
The tournament will be held at Santos National Football Stadium in Port Moresby on Saturday, September 23.
She told Katie Woolf she’s heading to the Gold Coast this weekend to get underway with the training camp and meet the whole team.
Shari says it’s going to be an experience she’ll never forget, and she’ll be bringing everything she’s learnt back to her U15 girls who are cheering her on right here in Darwin.
