Trident arrest trio, aged 12 to 13 over car thefts and break-ins with cop cars rammed in Darwin

Strike Force Trident, Detective Senior Sergeant Dale Motter-Barnard says a group of kids allegedly stole two cars from Fannie Bay overnight, dumping one in Nightcliff, with the other used to ram a cop car in Karama.

He told Katie Woolf three youths, aged 12 and 13, were arrested and have also been linked to break-ins at homes and businesses in Casuarina and Fannie Bay.

Detective Senior Sergeant Motter-Barnard says they were all on bail.

He went on to allege that the youths were actively targeting police, even vehicles that were parked off to the side of the road.
