A man in his 20s has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition following an assault in Darwin CBD.
Police say they were alerted to an altercation with four men at around 3:45 yesterday morning (January 21) on Mitchell Street near the intersection of Knuckey Street.
Authorities say one man was knocked to the ground and assaulted until he fell unconscious.

The victim has been taken to Royal Darwin Hospital in a critical condition.
