An 8-year-old boy has been killed following a single-vehicle rollover on the Arnhem Highway.
Police say the incident happened approximately 40km outbound from the Marrakai turnoff at 9pm last night.
A 32-year-old man was reportedly driving the car, with a 14-year-old girl and 8-year-old boy as passengers.

The 8-year-old boy passed away following the crash.
Both of the other occupants have been taken to Royal Darwin Hospital by Careflight with non life-threatening injuries.
Investigations are continuing.
The road is currently closed in both directions, not expected to reopen until around midday (July 7).
