Investigations are continuing following a fatal single-vehicle crash in Katherine.
Police say a car veered off Florina Road near Katherine just before 8am on Friday (February 20), before crashing into a tree.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, an 84-year-old man, was taken to hospital in Darwin but passed away the following day.

Initial indications suggest the man may have experienced a medical episode shortly before the incident.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage is being asked to contact police on 131 444.
