A crime scene has been declared in Palmerston after a 33-year-old man was reportedly attacked with a broken bottle overnight.
Police say the incident was reported at around 1:20 this morning (July 31) at Woodroffe Park, and believe the man was not known to offender.
The victim has since been taken to Royal Darwin Hospital in a serious condition with puncture wounds to his back and chest.

Police are continuing to search for the alleged offender.
