A 36-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs and evading police.
Police say a Black Suburu Impreza was spotted weaving in and out of traffic on Vanderlin drive at around 3pm on Thursday (August 4).
The car was stopped near Leanyer Waterpark, where the man allegedly tested positive for drug driving.

Authorities say he then fled into nearby bushland before being apprehended by the dog squad.
He remains in custody with charges expected to be laid this morning (August 5).
