A 42-year-old man has been arrested following a siege in Moulden.
Police were called to a unit complex on Moulden Terrace just after 6pm on Friday (July 18), following reports a 72-year-old man had been assaulted with a machete.
It’s alleged the neighbour approached to complain about loud music before he was attacked.

Upon the arrival of police it’s alleged the offender hid in his unit with negotiators deployed to the scene.
He later surrendered and has since been charged with a string of offences.
He’ll face court in Darwin today (July 22).
