Territory creatives are being encouraged to nominate for the NT Performing Arts Awards.
The Awards recognise artists, educators and cultural leaders who strengthen the community through their art.
This year’s awards will be held in Katherine at the Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts & Culture Centre on November 18, shining a light on the creativity of the Big Rivers region.
Minister for Arts Jinson Charls says the event is a major moment for the Territory’s creative industries and a fantastic opportunity to showcase regional talent.
“The NT Performing Arts Awards honour the extraordinary talent and passion of the people who make our arts community so special,” Mr Charls says.
“Whether they’re on stage or behind the curtain, these individuals inspire, connect and enrich our lives through creativity.”
To nominate head to the NT Government website before October 31.
