Darwin’s iconic Parap markets are ready for an upgrade as the Parap Village Traders Association seeks funding.
Plans have been revealed for improved footpaths, seating and shading.
The association says these are only preliminary actions, with most of the plans yet to be announced.
Rossi Architects has been contracted to bring the ideas to life.
It’s estimated the face lift will cost them $12 million to $15 million.
