Police are calling for witnesses following an assault in Malak.
Authorities were alerted to reports a woman over 60 had been assaulted near Bayfield Park while she was walking along the footpath at around 9am on Monday.
It’s alleged a man indecently exposed himself while the incident took place, and fled the scene on foot shortly after.

Police say the alleged offender is described as between 20-30 years-old and was wearing a khaki-coloured singlet and faded black shorts at the time of the incident.
They also say he has short brown hair, is of medium build and is about 165cm tall.
