Territory motorists are being warned to keep an eye out for animals on our major roads with two incidents in the last 48 hours.
Overnight (April 1) a car collided with a horse around 50km north of Katherine, with no injuries reported.
A car was also forced off the road near Pine Creek on Monday night (March 30) after a horse walked onto the road.

NT Police say the animals have most likely been displaced due to recent floods and have encouraged drivers to exercise caution when travelling at night.
