A 27-year-old man and a 15-year-old male have been arrested after a high-speed police chase through Darwin on Sunday night.
They were in an allegedly stolen Ford Ranger when they were spotted by police. It’s believed they sped away from officers before smashing through the boom gates at the port entrance in East Arm.
They then fled the scene on foot before being arrested a short time later.

One of the offenders was allegedly armed with a machete at the time.
They’ve been hit with a number of charges and will face court today over the matter.
