Allora Gardens Nursery’s Estelle Cornell has been recognised as this year’s Woman Icon at the Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards.

Ms Cornell told Katie Woolf she was up against 10 other finalists and shed a tear when her name was read out.

She says she’s been in business for 42 years and has put her heart and soul into the nursery.
