The movie follows Jay Gardiner, played by Austin Abrams, who dives off the coast of California searching for the remains of his late father.

Things go very, very wrong when Jay is swallowed by an enormous sperm whale.

And this isn’t your average whale encounter.

Jay finds himself trapped inside the whale with just one hour of oxygen left. His only option is to somehow find a way out before his tank runs dry.

The trailer shows Jay battling the terrifying conditions inside the whale while also dealing with the emotional weight of his father’s death.
