The March 2026 PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue update has been revealed. Starting Tuesday, 17 March, Extra and Deluxe subscribers can dive into a collection that feels remarkably curated, balancing massive blockbusters with some of the most stylish RPGs and indie adventures of the last few years.

The Heavy Hitters: Space Marines and Star Players

The undisputed headliner this month is Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. If you enjoy the sensation of being a walking tank, this is your moment. You step back into the power armour of Titus to face down Tyranid swarms that are, quite frankly, terrifying in their scale. The “Swarm Engine” technology allows for hundreds of enemies on screen at once, making every encounter feel like a desperate struggle for the Imperium. With a full co-op campaign and 6v6 PvP, it is the perfect “weekend with the mates” title.

For those who prefer their combat on the field rather than the battlefield, EA Sports Madden NFL 26 makes its way to the service. This year’s entry leans heavily into AI-powered machine learning to simulate authentic player tendencies. Whether you are trying to replicate Saquon Barkley’s explosive lateral movement or testing out adaptive defensive counters, the realism here is a significant step up from previous iterations.

Style, Substance, and a Bit of Guilt

It wouldn’t be a legendary Game Catalogue update without a massive RPG, and they don’t come much more stylish than Persona 5 Royal. For the uninitiated, you play as a high school student leading the “Phantom Thieves” to reform the hearts of corrupt adults. It is part social simulator, part dungeon crawler, and 100% aesthetic. If you have 100 hours to spare, this is arguably one of the best ways to spend them.

On the darker side of the spectrum, we have Blasphemous 2. This is a hauntingly beautiful “Metroidvania” that doubles down on the religious iconography and brutal combat of the first game. As the Penitent One, you explore a non-linear world filled with grotesque bosses that will test your patience and your parrying skills in equal measure.

Hidden Gems and Galactic Exploration

For those who enjoy a bit of digital manual labour, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria and Astroneer provide two very different flavours of crafting and survival. Return to Moria lets you reclaim the Dwarven homeland (with a welcome cameo from John Rhys-Davies as Gimli), while Astroneer is a more whimsical, “space-clay” sandbox where you can reshape entire planets. Both are excellent co-op experiences that reward creativity and persistence.

Rounding out the “Extra” tier is Metal Eden, a high-octane sci-fi FPS that tasks you with rescuing human “Cores” from a rogue megacity. It is fast, flashy, and serves as a great palate cleanser between the longer RPGs.

A Classic Returns for Deluxe Members

Finally, PlayStation Plus Deluxe subscribers get a nostalgic treat with Tekken Dark Resurrection. Originally a staple of the arcade and PSP era, this version brings Armor King, Lili, and Dragunov to the modern big screen. It remains one of the most fluid fighting games in the series’ history.

March is looking like a very busy month for PlayStation fans. Clear some hard drive space, you are going to need it.
