First Look at the Marvel “Madame Webb” Trailer

Sony Pictures has unveiled the trailer for its Marvel Comics film adaptation, the “Spider-Man” spin-off “Madame Web” which will be set for release in February 2024.

Taking center stage in this cinematic venture is Dakota Johnson, contributing to Sony Pictures’ Marvel Universe of Characters (SPUMC), sharing the stage with the likes of “Venom” and “Mobius.”

This “standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing’s most powerful heroines.” The thriller features Dakota Johnson portraying Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan whose potential clairvoyant abilities become a focal point. As she grapples with revelations from her past, she forms a connection with three young women whose destinies hold immense power, provided they can navigate a perilous present.

Joining Dakota Johnson in this S. J. Clarkson-directed feature are Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced, Tahar Rahim, Emma Roberts, Mike Epps, Adam Scott, and Zosia Mamet.

The screenplay, crafted by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, promises a theatrical debut on February 16th, 2024. This release marks the first installment of three Sony-Marvel films slated for the coming year, with “Kraven the Hunter” hitting theaters in August, and “Venom 3” scheduled for the year’s conclusion.

Also dropping this week was the trailer for the upcoming “What If” season 2 which features alternate versions and events of the heroes we know and love. Season 1 was a massive hit and featured the voices of some of the movie cast so we are really looking forward to see this when it hits the Disney+ streaming service on December 22.
