Katie Woolf is a voice for Territorians, she focuses on topics of importance and is known to go toe-to-toe with politicians and community leaders on issues affecting the NT.
She began her media career 15-years ago, producing a morning talk back show in Central Queensland. Katie has a degree in Journalism and Politics and has worked as a Ministerial Media Adviser, presented a TV segment on Channel Ten, managed media and communications for government departments, covered the news on Hot 100 and Mix 104.9 and also worked in breakfast radio.
Katie’s talents have been repeatedly recognised at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRA’s), being awarded not one, not two, but three awards, which is believed to be the first time an individual has won three ACRA’s in one event.
Katie Woolf received three nominations, and in an unprecedented result, claimed all three categories for: Best Talk Presenter Provincial, Best Current Affair Presenter Non Metro, Brian White Award for Radio Journalism (2023).
She’s also a mad running enthusiast, loves following current affairs, and has a solid understanding of news and politics and the way both can impact the community. When she’s not at work you can usually find her hanging out with her husband and their two children.
Katie is also a passionate advocate for men’s health after losing her Dad, Rod to Prostate Cancer. She founded Run with Dad, a Father’s Day Fun Run which raises money and awareness for prostate cancer and men’s health.
