A candlelit vigil for Perth teenager CASSIUS TURVEY will be held in Darwin tonight.
Mourners will pay their respects after the 15-year-old Indigenous Perth schoolboy was allegedly beaten with a metal pole as he was walking home last month.
The teenager was allegedly mistakenly identified as someone who had been breaking windows in the area before he was set upon, despite still wearing his school uniform.
He later died in hospital.
Police have charged a 21-year-old man with murder.
Locals are invited to attend a vigil at Rapid Creek Bridge from 6pm tonight urged to bring candles, flowers, signs and something to sit on.
