A candlelit vigil for Perth teenager CASSIUS TURVEY will be held in Darwin tonight.

Mourners will pay their respects after the 15-year-old Indigenous Perth schoolboy was allegedly beaten with a metal pole as he was walking home last month.

The teenager was allegedly mistakenly identified as someone who had been breaking windows in the area before he was set upon, despite still wearing his school uniform.
