Elderly woman held at knife point before her car was stolen in Palmerston

Three youths have been charged after allegedly stealing an elderly woman’s car at knife point in Palmerston.

The boys aged 13, 15 and 17 allegedly robbed her in Gray yesterday afternoon.

CCTV was used to track the vehicle, which was allegedly driven erratically through Greater Darwin.

The car later crashed in Moulden and Patrol Dog Drax was deployed to help arrest the trio.

They are expected to be charged later today with aggravated robbery and unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
