A man who has allegedly used a wheelie bin to stash and steal alcohol has been arrested.
Police allege the man broke into a licensed premise on Mitchell Street in Darwin city at around 4am Tuesday.
Upon arriving to the incident police witnessed the man fleeing the scene with the wheelie bin.

Majority of the alcohol has been recovered, and the man is yet to be charged.
